The tassels on the leather grip have a historical function, they are to soak up any blood running down the handle as to not make your grip slip when you're out working on fixing things.
This axe is beyond cool and fully functional. I had to go chop some shit with it and I guarantee it will kill, I told James I have to have one of these, so he will be making more.
